Storvik has received a unique recognition from Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) – with a personal message of thanks from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The occasion marks the successful delivery and implementation of EX Max technology in June 2025.
EX Max represents the next generation of aluminium smelting technology, developed to increase production capacity while significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The technology is currently in the pilot phase, with full industrial implementation targeted by 2028.
