Feasibility Studies and Concept Engineering
Storvik can produce study reports based on pre-engineering activities.
During a kick-off meeting with our customer we work together to define the scope of work for the project at hand. A deeper understanding of the problem domain and solution space can then be reached.
Storvik will then develop a technical concept of a solution which meet our customer’s requirements and follow international standards and regulations.
The proposed design is evaluated with regard to feasibility, estimated cost and risk. Alternative solutions are also explored with their respective pros and cons.
The scope of work to be performed in the engineering phase is defined. A project schedule for the consecutive execution phase of the project is produced.
A study report is presented to the customer from which important decisions can be taken based on the analysis therein. It is important to catch potential problems in the selected solution as early as possible, when expenses related to change is markedly less.
