In May 2020, Storvik was approved as an apprenticeship provider in the automation field. This is a developing trend in our industry, with automation of processes and Storvik wants to invest more in this field. We believe that through automation of processes we will increase our share of Norwegian production and at the same time strengthen our own competitiveness. We hope to get an apprenticeship in the automation profession this year.
Automation
An automator is an electrician worker who assembles, operates and maintains automated systems. That is, systems for control and regulation of automated production processes and electromechanical systems, which operate without or with little help from humans.
Storvik is now an approved apprenticeship provider within the fields of automation, plate / welding, CNC and industrial mechanics. We focus on the education of professionals and are well accustomed to having apprentices in our company. Storvik is a member of the Training Office of Sunndal Nesset Tingvoll Gjemnes.
