Storvik is very happy to announce a new contract to deliver a 6-month supply of tapping pipes to The Bell Bay smelter of Rio Tinto in Tasmania, Australia.
The Bell Bay Aluminium smelter began operating in 1955 and holds a unique place in Tasmanian and Australian history as the first aluminium smelter in the Southern Hemisphere.
Storvik has had a cooperation with global Rio Tinto smelters over several years and were recently able to secure the contract to supply The Bell Bay smelter with tapping pipes for the for the next 6 months. Storvik is also delivering a pneumatic tube cleaning machine to Rio Tinto and are looking forward to a continued cooperation with them.
