After several years of negotiations, Storvik succeeded in becoming a co-owner of the iron foundry RKL.
RKL is one of Europe’s most modern foundries with a production capacity of 7 000 tonnes per year and approx. 150 employees.
Storvik exports an average of 3 200 tonnes annually from the Czech Republic. Much of this is produced by RKL.
RKL has been a very important supplier to Storvik for the past 20 years and has during this time been a highly valued quality supplier of iron consumables. RKL has proven its capability to be profitable with a considerable ability and willingness to invest. The investment budget for 2020 is over CZK 30 million.
In terms of HSE and QA, RKL is on the same level as the best in their respective industry in Norway and Europe.
Storvik is now looking forward to an even closer collaboration as a co-owner of RKL.
